A rare officer's sword marked E.Gill (Elizabeth Gill was the widow of John Gill). Blade of 32 inches and marked E Gill's Warranted, and with rounded back edge. Iron hilt evenly pitted, and grip complete. Iron scabbard evenly pitted.

Victorian Royal Engineers sword engraved for the 1st. City Of London Engineers. Blade of 32 1/2 inches engraved with Flaming grenades, foliage, Winged Lightning, and reverse with Crowned VR, Canon and Ubique. Maker- tucker and Seagrove, Cumnor St. London.
