GEORGIAN CAVALRY TROOPER'S SWORD-SPRING SALEA pre 1788 cavalry trooper's sword with 35 1/2 inch flat blade with clipped point. Brass hilt with fishskin grip. Blade has patches of pitting and remains of crowned ordnance mark. The same pattern of sword can be seen in Richard Deller''s Cavalry book, plate 1.3.
